Foxy Brown's request to be released from incarceration was denied yesterday (Aug. 27) by a Manhattan Supreme Court justice.
Foxy, who is currently serving time on Riker's Island, filed a lawsuit against the Correction Department, claiming that she is suffering on Rikers Island, since being incarcerated last Wednesday (August 21) for alleged parole violations.
Brown, who recently revealed she is pregnant, is not due for a hearing until Sept. 7.
Manhattan Criminal Supreme Court Justice Laura Ward denied Brown's request.
Brown was arrested on August 14, after she allegedly assaulted her 25-year-old neighbor. The following day (Aug. 15) she was arrested again for traffic violations.
Representatives for the rapper said they would appeal the ruling.
