HHNLive.com - A New Beginning.

Remember when Hip Hop was dope and you couldn't wait to catch that new version of the Source to see if anyone would get the elusive 5 mics. When it was raw and it told the story of inner city survival, dispair, enlightenment, and redemption . This site and before it the newsletter, like Hip Hop, was once like that - fresh, entertaining, infuriating, and uplifting. We've come to bring that back to the internet and back to HHN.
Hip Hop doesn't just exist in New York, or Atlanta, or LA. It exist in places like Cincinatti and Detroit, Boston and DC, Orlando and Dallas, London and Paris, Canada and Japan. We're gonna take you where no other hip hop site has gone before. We're gonna report on where YOU live and also take you to places around the world from you to show you how different Hip Hop is around the globe and how much the same the people are who love it.
The team that has now taken over HHN launched the very first Hip Hop site on the web back in 92, we launched The Boondocks with Aaron McGruder back in 95, and we launched the first urban video site back in 2002. So we are looking to bring all that experience to HHN to develop a new kind of online experience.
We'd like to thank Adam and Scott for the years and hard work they have put into building this team and this site and wish them the best on their future endeavors. We'd like to thank the writers who have held down HHN through some trying times and continued to try to put out good work. Most of all we want to thank you the readers and contributors to HHN for sticking with the site and helping it to become better. We look forward to serving you and working with you to cover Hip Hop better than any site out there.
