J.D. In Talks With EMI and Def Jam

After leaving his post as President of Urban music at Virgin, Jermaine Dupri is currently in talks with multiple labels for his next label situation. Reports are stating that J.D. is currently discussing a new situation for his So So Def label at Virgin's parent company EMI. There is also talk that L.A. Reid has expressed a strong interest in bringing So So Def over to Island/Def Jam. Should that situation ever happen, Dupri would be reporting to Jay-Z.
