Judge Denies Foxy Brown's Request For Early Release

A judge has denied Foxy Brown's request to get out of jail early.
According to the New York Post, Criminal Court Judge Melissa Jackson denied the request Thursday (Jan. 24). Foxy had been requesting that she be let out of jail early so she could visit a specialist in Los Angeles in regards to her high tech hearing aid.
The judge denied the request stating that Foxy had failed to provide sufficient medical proof that she needed to visit the doctor. Foxy will now stay in custody until her anticipated April 20 release from Rikers Island.
Foxy will be given the opportunity to seek out a local specialist who can provide treatment at Rikers or at one of two New York City area hospitals.
