Death Row Records Purchased By Former Aesthetician

Susan Berg, formerly an aesthetician, has purchased the rights to Death Row Records in a court ordered auction.
Global Music Group, where Berg is President, purchased the label for $24 million yesterday (June 25) after a court ordered the assets of Death Row be put up for auction following bankruptcy.
The deal includes all of Death Row's highly regarded classic albums including Snoop Dogg's "Doggystyle" and Dr. Dre's "The Chronic". Additionally, Global Music Group receives the rights to 20 unreleased 2Pac songs in the deal.
Suge Knight and his attorneys had seeked to have the auction halted however failed in doing so.
