Vote 4 Hip-Hop Culture - Never...Ever Give Up

What it do hhnlive.com fam? It’s ya boy Barack No’Drama aka St. James and I’m back with the second installment of “Vote 4 Hip Hop Culture”. In the first installment I introduced to you my idea of why it’s important we vote and take interest in politics. On this go round I want to get a little bit into the happenings last week of the ground breaking Democratic Primary and why Hillary Clinton just won’t give up despite calls from her party leaders and the media to do so.
Last week the primaries in West Virginia were held and Hillary Clinton won the primary by an almost 2-1 majority. While this surprised pretty much NO ONE being that West Virginia is full of two things, mountains and inbreds, it underscored Hillary Clinton’s argument that she should be chosen as the nominee because of her support among “working class” white voters. She even chose those exact words while talking to the media about her “broad” support base (i.e. racist white folks). What exactly is the “working” class anyways?? Should Hillary be bragging that most of her votes came from the most under educated and under funded citizens? When did the “working class” become the undercover term for white people such as the term “hip hop” for blacks?? Anyways since we now know that they have “super delegates” to decide an election instead of the popular vote in primaries (did you know it pretty much works the same in the general election with the Electoral College??) Hillary is using this as an excuse to delay the inevitable. She argues that if she can persuade the super delegates to see her point of view then the nomination should be hers. F*&% type of logic is that!!??? Honestly, in the game of politics once the cameras and lights are no longer in your face you are no longer relevant. So the longer Hillary drags this mess out, the longer they cover her and the more influence she has on general election policies. Hell she’s even asking Barack to break her off $30 million so she can repay her campaign debt. She knows it’s over, but the longer she stays in the spotlight the more Mr. Obama will have to jive his health care plan with hers to “merge” the support and etc. My fam over at “Rumorz” MDUBB posted a clip with the intelligent (I use that term loosely) voters of West Virginia and I’m not so sure it wouldn’t be a good idea to just put her on the ticket. Screw it. I wanna win. Those “smart people” expressed that they would vote REPUBLICAN before voting for Barack. WTF???? I’m just glad that also during this week, a man by the name of John Edwards (you may have heard of him he only ran for V.P. the last time around with John “I won’t stand up to the Republicans” Kerry) endorsed the likely Democratic candidate Senator Obama which I’m sure pissed Hillary off because it all but drowned out her press over the victory among those highly educated people in West Virginia. During his speech he stated that it was time for America to “unite as one”. Tell Hill and her shady Clinton clan that Johnny Boy. I hear the fat lady singing………………..
Next Week: Profiling John McCain and more election coverage.
The intelligent people of West Virginia!!
